Healthy Whipped Hot Chocolate
This healthy whipped hot chocolate is sweetened with Nutrient-Rich Date Syrup and is the perfect indulgent and creamy guilt-free treat you need regardless of the time of the year!

Finally, take a chocolate bar and carefully shave some off with a knife into the hot chocolate (make sure the knife is always facing away from you, and that you watch out for your fingers!). If you have a potato peeler or grater, they may work just as well and have the added benefit of being safer to use!

Ingredients
Whipped Portion

1 tsp. vanilla
-
¼ cup heavy whipping cream
Liquid Portion

1 ½ cups of milk

1 tbsp. cocoa, AIM Cocoa LeafGreens (ID# 383196) or 1 oz. dark chocolate

1 tsp. vanilla

Sugar-free mini marshmallows
Directions

Mix the whipped ingredients together in a wide bowl, then whip them together until well-mixed and peaks form. Set aside.

Mix the ingredients for the liquid portion together in a saucepan over medium heat and stir continuously. When nice and consistently steamy, (If you are using AIM Cocoa LeafGreens for chocolate heat only till warm.)

remove from heat and transfer to a mug. Dollop the whipped portion over the top, and add some sugar-free mini marshmallows for a healthy bit of self-indulgence.
